Proposing to have a circular economy by 2050, the Netherlands has become the most active and ambitious European country in implementing the circular economy package of actions adopted last year by the European Commission during the Dutch presidency of the European Council.
The circular economy responds to the most pressing issue of the 21st century: efficient use (and reuse) of raw materials in order to provide food and goods for a decent living of the population, without harming the environment and exhausting the planet natural resources.
To inspire and get inspired about the specific activities of the circular economy, especially in the agri-food and water sectors, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Bucharest organizes between 21st-24th of November 2017 a series of Inspirational sessions to promote Circular Economy in Romania and Bulgaria. The events will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Bucharest and Sofia and are organized with the support of agricultural universities in these cities.
The event in Cluj-Napoca is organized in partnership with USAMV Cluj-Napoca, on 21st of November, between 09:00 – 14:00.
