The seventh edition of the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj will take place between the 14th and the 21st of August 2016. This year, the main goal of the festival is to celebrate 700 years since Cluj officially became a city. The festival will consist of more than 500 events: 30 concerts on three stages, theater and dance performances, movie projections, art exhibitions, cooking events, medieval games, sports events, wine tastings, virtual reality events, guided tours, parties. The events will be hosted by locations such as Unirii Square, Kogălniceanu street, Potaissa street, The Cluj Art Museum, The Ethnographic Museum of Transilvania, The Polyvalent Hall, Tranzit House, TIFF House, Insomnia Caffe. One of the most special moments of this year’s edition will be a 3D videomapping projection on the walls of St. Michael’s Church in Unirii Square that will take place on Friday, 19th of August, at 22:10, and it will spectacularly celebrate 700 years since Cluj officialy became a city. The projection is the work of world famous artist *László Zsolt Bordos (Bordos ArtWorks)*. Also, during the Hungarian Cultural Days of Cluj, the audience will be able to enjoy the first ever concert in Cluj of the famous Hungarian band Omega (Sunday, 21st of August, 9 pm) and the concert of Ákos (Saturday, 20th of August, 9 pm), a very appreciated musician in Hungary today.
