International Conference on Transdisciplinary Research for Sustainable Tourism Development

The International Conference on Transdisciplinay Research for Sustainable Tourism Development (ICTRSTD 2017) is organised by the Discover Transylvania’s Reaches Cluster in collaboration with Faculty of Geography from Babes-Bolyai University, and seeks to outline the links between tourism and technology for a more peaceful and sustainable development of society. ICTRSTD 2017 is taking place between 6-8 October, 2017, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The Conference will raise discussions between academics, students, policy makers and practitioners throughout the world on the topic of the newest academic findings and their applicability in planning and developing strategies, assessment tools and decision making processes, pursuing fresher attitudes and outlooks on managing tourism activities.

The International Conference on Transdisciplinay Research for Sustainable Tourism Development welcomes submission of abstracts for original contribution in the following scientific topics, but not limited to:

• Sustainable Tourism and Territorial Development;
• Environmental Impact of Tourism;
• Tourism and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Sites;
• E-Tourism, ICT and Travel Technology;
• Quality Assurance and Regularitory Mechanism in the Tour Guiding Industry, and others;
