A premiere in Romania,
Financial Education through „serious play”
by using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method
About 160 high-school students from 3 schools in Cluj Napoca – Transylvania College, Colegiul Economic „Lucian Pop” and Liceul Teoretic “Lucian Blaga” – will be exploring, for the 1st time in Romania, alternative solutions to increasing their income budget by using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method.
Through „serious play”, with the support of the colorful interlocking LEGO® bricks, teenagers will learn to better manage their income budget and will become more aware of their expenses priorities. They will be reflecting on the necessary initiatives to supplement their personal budget, so that they can not only meet their needs, but also fulfill their desires and bring their dreams to reality.
The workshop has been initiated by Transylvania College in partnership with Business Insight, during the Global Money Week, a Child and Youth Finance International initiative – an annual financial awareness campaign built to inspire children and young people to learn about money matters, livelihoods and entrepreneurship. This year Transylvania College celebrates the 8th edition of Global Money Week.
