Ready, steady, GDPR!

The implementation deadline of the General Data Protection and Data Processing (GDPR) regulation is approaching swiftly, and businesses in Europe are preparing to adapt to requirements before May 2018.

The general principles for the processing of personal data require that they are processed in a transparent manner. The purpose of the processing must be clear and legitimate. The amount of processed data has to be reduced to a minimum, depending on the purpose. The data must be correct and the storage time should be limited to a period related to this purpose. In addition, the integrity and confidentiality of data should be protected.
