The Department of Public Administration and Management, Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Studies at Babes Bolyai University, Romania has the pleasure to invite you to take part in our 2017 annual international conference, entitled Transylvanian International Conference in Public Administration. The conference will take place from November 2nd to November 4th 2017 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. A workshop for practitioners and a PhD seminar are scheduled to take place before the main conference (October 31st and November 1st).
The main goal of the conference is to bring together academics, researchers and practitioners in the field of public administration from all over the world and to create the framework in which they can exchange ideas, disseminate best practices and develop networking opportunities for future teaching and research projects. The overarching topic for 2017 is innovation and how innovation (understood in a broad manner) is currently used in governance to generate better service delivery, more inclusive citizen participation, more effective transfer and adaptation of best practices from international level, etc.

The language for papers and presentations is English.
There is no participation fee for those presenting a paper in the main conference. Coffee breaks, lunches and dinners are provided free of charge for all participants by the local organizers on the 2 days of the conference (2nd and 3rd November 2017). In addition, the trip organized on November 4th after the closing of the conference is also sponsored by the local organizers for all interested participants in the conference.
